Terms of use

Last updated: 10 October 2026

By installing or using Twofold you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Twofold is

Twofold is an app for keeping your family's important information in an encrypted vault on your own devices, and sharing it with family members you pair with.

Your responsibilities

Not a substitute for originals or advice

Twofold helps you record and find information. It doesn't replace original documents, legal wills or nominations, or professional legal, financial or insurance advice.

No warranty

Twofold is provided "as is". We work hard to make it secure and reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or that data will never be lost, for example if a device fails and no backup exists.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Twofold.

Open-source components

Twofold uses open-source software, including libsodium, under their own licences, which you can view in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
